Siiri Raasakka

Siiri Raasakka is a womenswear designer currently based in London. She graduated the Central Saint Martins MA Fashion course in 2016. Before that she completed her BA in Aalto University, Helsinki. In 2012, she won the Grand Prix du Jury of the Festival International de Mode et de Photographie in Hyères, France, with Yohji Yamamoto as the head of the jury. with a menswear collection together with Tiia Sirén and Elina Laitinen. Raasakka has been featured in leading international titles such as A Magazine, Vogue Italia, Dazed & Confused, AnOther Magazine and SoEn. Siiri Raasakka develops silhouettes with exaggerated proportions and a unique approach to 2D pattern making. Feminism is at the core of her work.  She combines sophisticated sportswear with menswear elements to convey an impact of powerful femininity.
